I personally didn’t care for la Vie est Belle, something about it didn’t go with me. This is so sweet and cute is the best way I can describe it. It’s candy-like, but in a way I still feel confident walking around, and not like a middle schooler OD-ing on victoria secrets sweetest body sprays. It’s deff a gourmand, with a little bit of a flowery vibe!
I am a crazy fan when it comes to gourmand perfumes, and C'est La Vie fits the bill and has won my heart. Every one of these notes in this perfume are my some of my favorites and are so beautiful. Come on, who doesn't like praline, vanilla, Tonka Bean and fruits? And don't forget the patchouli note in there which I can never get enough of. Layered has combined all these fragrances to create a beautiful gem of a perfume. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this a 100 if I could. Projection and longevity are strong in a very good way. In my opinion, this is a mass appealing perfume...sweet, sexy, alluring, lovely, and intriguing. I have a back up bottle, and I plan to buy more. Would make a great gift!! So, if you love gourmand perfumes, run and don't walk to buy this beauty!!! It's worth every penny and then some.
C'est La Vie was part of my sample pack. I love the name and was hoping I would love the fragrance too. I've tried La vie Est Belle and it was too sweet and perfume-y, and not my cup of tea. However, C'est La Vie is absolutely wonderful and Lancome should have consulted with Be Layered's staff because they knocked it out of the park with this one. One reviewer below said C'est la vie is more airy and lighter than its inspired fragrance, and I couldn't agree more. Do yourself a favor and buy this delicious, elegant, light and airy perfume, you'll be so glad you did.
I received a sample of La Vie Est Belle and I don't get the hype at all. This? It was extra in my sampler and the 3rd one I tried. I put it in my cart immediately and it will be first Be Layered fragrance. It is not a dupe in my estimation. It's gorgeous.
I own la vie est belle and I have to say this isn’t an exact dupe but the two share a lot of similarities. C'est La Vie Isn’t as dense as the original. It’s also a bit lighter and has an airy quality that the original doesn’t have. It comes off like it might have a touch of citrus in it as well. In the original La Vie Est Belle I get more of the pear note with that beautiful vanilla and tonka with praline. C'est La Vie I get more of the black currant and very little pear. Still a stunning scent and I’m still glad I own both the inspiration and the original. C'est La Vie Almost feels like it could of been a flanker to the original La Vie est belle where it shares the same yummy DNA but it’s not quite the same.
